Let us introduce -IZS-HR- High Resolution Z Stage with submicron accuracy, up to 50 nm resolution and speed over 20 mm/s.

Precise Z Stage is a critical tool in automated microscopy especially for high magnification imaging. With such a high resolution and acceleration IZS-HR will fit even the most demanding applications.

It is ideal to work with focus tracking systems and in 3D z-acquisition. This top-performance stage will significantly improve throughput and reliability of your system.

IZS-HR details:

  • High rigidity and resolution for high magnification microscopic objective lenses
  • Two preloaded, long and wide linear motion (LM) guide carriages for high rigidity
  • 2-phase stepper motor for integration simplicity 
  • 5-phase stepper motor available for more demanding applications (reaching 50 nm resolution)
  • 1mm pitch ball screw for high resolution. Please inquire for larger pitch availability.
  • Preloaded ball screw and anti-backlash shaft coupler for minimal backlash
  • Actuation type: ball screw (compare to a lead screw it has a lower friction resulting in higher acceleration, velocity, longer life; another consequence is much lower breakaway torque allowing fine positioning)
  • Preloaded back-to-back bearing on the ball screw for high rigidity and accuracy
  • Maximum stroke 15mm.  Stroke and two integrated limit switch positions are adjustable.  
  • Replaceable bottom plate allows easy integration of different objective lenses, lens turrets, ring illuminators, and other accessories
  • IZS-HR2 can be driven with our MnL (Stepper Motor and LED controller)
